What got strongerParticipation grew 383% — from 40 to 193 cadets — giving CACC its most representative statewide picture to date. Long-term retention surged, with 49.8% of 2025 cadets reporting 6+ years in the program. NCO attainment also rose to 68%.
Context for percentage shiftsMost drops in 2025 reflect sample diversification, not program decline. As more schools with varied resources joined, averages naturally balanced. Scholarship guidance and dual enrollment access are the priority areas for 2026.
